ADC KENTROX SATELLITE 651 DSU/CSU -T1, CA V.35

The new Satellite™ 651 DSU/CSU is the ideal low-cost access solution for T1 and FT1 networks. The unit ships with default settings for the most common configurations (ESF framing and B8ZS line coding), so it is as easy to set up as it is to use. You can customize these settings and manage the unit locally via the front-panel LCD and push buttons. For even greater management capability, use the Satellite 651 in tandem with Kentrox DataSMARTTM DSU/CSUs. With a DataSMART at the central site, you can access the remote Satellite 651 via the ESF FDL link. You can change the unit's configuration, collect full performance statistics, view system status, and generate loopbacks.

ADC KENTROX DataSMART® 656 T1 DSU/CSU with Ethernet

The DataSMART® 656 single-port DSU/CSU and DataSMART 658 single-port add/drop DSU/CSUs are designed to cost-effectively connect your LAN to your corporate network or to the Internet. These DataSMARTs operate at T1 and fractional T1 rates from 56k to 1.536 Mbps in increments of Nx56 or Nx64 Kbps. These DSUs operate on point-to-point or Frame Relay networks.

The DataSMART 656 and 658 are easy to install and maintain using the front panel LCD display or via Telnet or SNMP. The front panel LCD and LEDs indicate signal status and alarms while multiple loopbakcs aid troublehsooting. Independent BERT functionality allows the user to send and detect varying test codes.

Fully SNMP compliant, the DataSMART 656 and 658 can be managed by any SNMP manager. Built in Ethernet and RS-232 control ports provide management interface for local management. In-band management allows end-to-end visibility in most networks.

DataSMART MAX T1/FT1 Multi-port DSU/CSUs from Kentrox help you consolidate traffic at remote sites, and save access charges month after month. By leveraging unused bandwidth, and merging voice, data and video traffic onto a single T1 link, you can reduce the number of T1/FT1 lines needed for WAN access.

The 12-Slot Shelf provides mounting for up to twelve
T-SMART Intelligent CSUs, T-SERV II CSUs, or
Converters) in seven vertical inches of a 19-inch or
rack. The depth is approximately twelve inches.

A mixture of T-SMART Intelligent CSUs and T-SERV
II CSUs can be installed in the same 12-Slot shelf.
However, T-SMART Frame Converters cannot be
mixed in the same shelf with CSUs.

ADC Kentrox 77115L2 T-SERV® II CSU

The T-SERV® II CSU offers local management of T1 service lines. It meets all FCC and carrier requirements for a standard interface between the user and the network. The T-SERV II is NRTL listed to UL1950.

All basic CSU functions are contained in the T-SERV II CSU, including bipolar violation (BPV) correction, line build-out, loop-code generator for fault isolation, front-panel LED status indicators, test jacks, power options and automatic keep-alive signal generation. Its transparent operation passes the T1 bitstream unaltered.
